Front Sight asks that they receive your completed application for training and certificate or payment two weeks before the course date. If you want me to ship your certificate directly to Front Sight please indicate in the comment section of the order form.

01/28/04 I just received the new 2004 brochures and course applications. Front Sight is now requiring students to enclose a check for $50.00 to cover the cost of the Background Checks (ages 18 and older.) The background check is good for one calendar year. What this means is that If you were to attend a course in January, and returned for training in November, It would only require one background check. If you took a class in December then returned in January of the following year, that would require two background checks. So if you are using a certificate to cover the cost of the course you will still need to write a check to cover the background check.

Ok some tips
When you purchase your Front Sight Course Certificate on eBay, only purchase one at a time. This will minimize your risk for fraud, or the certificates being mis counted. Insist on the certificate being shipped with online tracking. I recommend using USPS Priority Mail, you can purchase the postage online at www.usps.com and print the shipping lable on your computer.

Once you have your certificate go to the Front Sight website and download the course application and print it out. Then just place your completed application, $50 (for the background check,) and certificate in a priority mail envelope and address it to the address on the bottom of the application. Again I recommend priority mail with online tracking. This will ensure your application gets to front sight quickly.
