How good is good enough?

I thought I was about as good a marksman as I’d ever be, until I went shooting with Doug. (Heck, I’d been a Marine!) Front Sight offers training to meet any skill level, whether you’re a first time gun owner, a full-time gun enthusiast, or even if you carry a weapon in your profession. About Front Sight.

What makes the training so special?

Well, it isn’t just the facility, although that helps. One of Dr. Piazza’s primary areas of focus during his own training was to learn what makes a great curriculum and, most importantly, what makes a world-class instructor.

I specifically remember one of the instructors adjusting my grip and saying, "Roger, that is good…but we want you to be perfect." That was Dr Ignatius Piazza, Founder of Front Sight. All of the instructors were great, and I was really impressed with the level of training I received.

Two-Day Advanced Tactical Handgun. A weekend course open only to graduates of Four-Day Defensive Handgun or Handgun Skill Builder. Cost is $800.
Handgun Combat Master Prep. A four-day course open to all students who hold a Four Day Handgun or Two Day Skill Builder completion Certificate and who want to master the handgun. Cost is $1600.
Two-Day Tactical Shotgun. Entry-level weekend course designed to help anyone learn the basic Tactical use of the shotgun. Cost is $600.
Four-Day Tactical Shotgun. A comprehensive course in the tactical use of the shotgun, for private citizens, military and law enforcement personnel alike. Covers loading and unloading, malfunction clearance, proper sling carry, presentation, rapid assumption of various positions, target engagement from 7 to 50 meters under time pressure, multiple target engagement under time pressure, hostage rescue and more. Cost is $1200.
Two-Day Practical Rifle. Entry-level weekend course to provide practical rifle skills to rapidly acquire and hit a target out to 200 yards. Cost is $600.
Four-Day Practical Rifle. A comprehensive course in the practical use of the rifle designed for military and law enforcement personnel as well as private citizens. Students learn how to most efficiently assume multiple shooting positions to rapidly make first round hits out to 400 yards. Cost is $1200.

Course Certificates explained.

When Dr. Piazza wanted to build the Las Vegas facility, he decided to raise the necessary funds by selling memberships. People who believed in his training and his goals bought “First Family” memberships that included things like free training, attendance at Front Sight events, and other cool stuff. Some of the highest levels of membership even include 1-acre home lots, allowing members to build on the resort property in Las Vegas!

The one thing all memberships have in common is that the members receive multiple Grey Course Certificates, which are good for free basic course training (Two or Four-Day Defensive Handgun, Two or Four-Day Tactical Shotgun, Two or Four-Day Practical Rifle, or Handgun Combat Master Prep) at Front Sight. All of the Certificates are completely transferable (they can be bought or traded), and bear no expiration date.

The Grey Course Certificates are good for any basic class (listed above), up to $1000. The catch with these Certificates, however, is that they can only be used by a new student of Front Sight. The idea behind the Grey Course Certificates was to get the First Family members to introduce new students to Front Sight by selling or giving them a Grey Course Certificate for their first class. The result is that there are quite a few Certificates floating around out there, waiting to be used. Blue Certificates are available as well, although they are a bit more rare.

The Blue Course Certificates are good for any class offered at Front Sight, up to $2000. Anyone can use them, including returning students and First Family members. They can also be used by “buddies” to cover two admission fees for some of the basic courses. Some First Family members have more Blue Certificates than they are able to use. Both types of Certificates can be bought, sold or traded, and none of them have expiration dates; Front Sight Course Certificates are completely transferable.

How can I save you money?
Simple, really. I buy Course Certificates from students & members who have a surplus and chose to sell them for whatever reason. I then resell them to people who want to attend training at Front Sight at a discounted rate. This site is basically a clearinghouse for Front Sight training Certificates — all of which are embossed originals released by Front Sight.

How much money can you save? Here are a few examples:

New students save $503. Let’s say you’ve never attended a Front Sight class before, and you want to take one of the Four-Day Courses: Defensive Handgun, Tactical Shotgun or Practical Rifle. You can pay $1000 to Front Sight when registering for the class, or you can buy a Grey Course Certificate from this site for $497 and save $503! (Certificate must accompany your completed application for Front Sight training.)

Returning students and First Family members can save even more money!

Save $203 if you attend one of the courses Front Sight offers at $1000, you can purchase a Blue Course Certificate from this site for $797 and save over $200!

How does this site work?

Simply choose the correct link for what you are interested in doing: buying or selling Course Certificates.

If you are interested in buying a Certificate, you will be asked to enter some basic contact information. Once that is submitted, you will receive an email in a few minutes letting you know the number of Certificates currently available. If there are no Certificates available you will be placed on a “first come first served” waiting list, and notified via email when they become available.

If there are Certificates available, you will be sent an email verifying your selection and your shipping address. At the end of the email will be a hyperlink that will send you to Paypal’s secure site for payment. Once funds have cleared you will be shipped the Certificates you ordered via UPS Second Day service. You will receive an email with the UPS tracking number when I ship the Certificates.
